2020 Cheshire Quilters' Guild 5-Month Mystery - Fractured Squares
For the first 5 months of 2020 Cheshire Quilters' Guild will have a mystery project. The piecing is easy, the fabric requirements low, and the opportunity is to go to miss. If you love mystery quilts then this is the project for you. If you've never tried one then this project allows you to try a small one to see if they are your cup of tea. The result is a 38-1/2" x 38-1/2" quilt perfect for the guild's wheelchair quilt project. Every December the guild donates 75 or more of these wheelchair quilts to four area nursing homes. These are greatly appreciated by the residents. So go to Month 1 to watch a video on fabric suggestions and access the fabric requirements/suggestions pdf for Month 1.
Month 2 is half-square triangle units in 2 sizes. You can watch a video on how I efficiently piece them and get the pdf instructions to download on Month 2. Month 3 is all about flying geese. Month 4 is two different units - square-in-a-square and quarter square triangle.
